VINTAGE VIXEN..LISA BONET. My 100th Blog. I did it……YEAH!

Long before Nichole Ritchie had ever heard of Good Charlotte, Lisa Bonet was the ultimate bohemian goddess/rock star muse. In the late ’80s, Bonet went from playing wholesome Denise Huxtable on “The Cosby SHow” and “A Different World,” to becoming an uber-sexy hippie chick.

She wore nose rings, rocked trendsetting gypsy/flower child ensembles, married hot rocker Lenny Kravitz–and, in a move that shocked conservative America, she appeared semi-naked on the cover of Rolling Stone( see above). After her marriage ended in ’93, Bonet changed her name to Lilakoi Moon and stepped outside of the limelight, devoting her time to her daughter, gorgeous starlet Zoe Kravitz. She had two more children with her partner, Jason Momao, and appeared on the pilot episode of “Life on Mars.” Lisa Bonet, you were totally before your time, girl.

I love you!

FYI. Lisa Bonet was one of my first girl crushes. I loved everything about her starting with her boho style I copied now & then, her hair and corky sense of humor. Not to mention Angel Heart. She inspired me to get my nose pierced.

One of my hippie chic style muses for certain. Watch out for Zoe Kravitz, her daughter who is a muse to DIOR and several fashion houses.
