GOOD genes or Good jeans!

Well fashion junkies if you are like me and many other women in America the search for the perfect pair of dungarees are a hard find. So, I generally opt for one pieces, dresses or jump suits personally but let me share my “BLUES” clues for getting the right pair of jeans for you.

Your quest for the perfect pair of jean is over. Hundreds of pairs—and I narrowed it down to the best of the best.

Ralph Lauren Denim & Supply, available at Macy’s. The heritage label stars flare legged Austin wash (like old school low riders with VINTAGE wash) for $125.

Scout Flared Jeans

“Scout Flare” jeans, $80, Calvin Klein
. Available at select Macy’s, Not everyone wants to make a dramatic statement, like me (LMAO).

Not too trendy, these subtle flares are very ’70’s. What’s more, the less-exaggerated bell is incredibly flattering on all figures. It’s true!

High Rise Retro Flare

I love the worn in look of these dark jeans from Old Navy, and I love the price even more. Try these bell-bottoms with wide, strappy heels to create a vintage-inspired outfit. I am a VFJ, after all!

“High Rise Retro Flare” jeans, $20,

Flare Soho Jeans

With a flat, dark wash and incredibly simple detailing, these flares might be dramatic, but they also give-off a certain French girl vibe. Wear them with a slinky white tank and  TOM’S for day, platforms for night.

Flare “Soho” jeans, $30, RSQ,

Rewind faded curvy flare jeans

With subtle whiskering and a traditional color, this style from Rewind at Kohl’s will become your favorite pair of jeans after one wear. Why? Because aside from looking great, they’re affordable, too.

Slim Boyfriend Jeans

Mango Boyfriend Slim Jeans

I love these because I stole my male friends similar style jeans months ago and guess what I never returned them!   While these are narrow, they’re also relaxed and boy-ish. Really, they’re so easy to wear: Pair with sky-high wedges and you’re good to go.

501 Boyfriend Jeans, $78, Levi’s,

Levi's Boyfriend Slim Jeans

A light-colored style is great with a cropped grey sweatshirt and white sneakers. Perfect for the weekend or FLEA MARKET shopping (my favorite past time).

Jeans, $78, Levi’s,

Franklin Jeans by Ralph Lauren

Buttery soft and slightly distressed, these are your lazy-Sunday jeans. Definitely wear them cuffed. My personal favorites are Levi’s & they are 10 years old!

“Franklin” jeans, $90, Denim & Supply Ralph Lauren.

Marrakech Cigarette jeans

The classic boyfriend style never gets old, especially in a worn-in, easy denim.  I like pairing this version with heels and a blazer. Very BAD ASS, Craze Chameleon running around the city. I do mean running in my HEELS…..

Boyfriend rolled cuffs jeans, $59.99, Lauren Jeans

Worn-in boyfriend jeans

A  little edgier, go for grey (my favorite). It looks amazing with black, and can always be dressed up for work, date night or PLAY.
