Volunteers Needed! Baby it’s cold outside

Standard

Good Afternoon and Happy New Year!
I’m writing to you all with an urgent volunteer need through The Salvation Army. Our annual coat distribution starts tomorrow, and we are already behind!
This year, we had to change locations, and the truck delivering all of the donated coats cannot arrive until tomorrow. We expect 3,000-5,000 coats to arrive sometime tomorrow, and we only have this Thursday and Friday (potentially Monday, too) to sort them by size and gender and count them all. For this, we need 20-30 volunteers each shift, 9 AM – 12 noon and 1-4 PM (Thursday, Friday, and Monday). After sorting, we need 12-15 volunteers next Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday to assist with restocking, checking in and out families, and being shopping assistants. Shifts are also 9 AM – 12 noon and 1-4 PM.
At the moment, I have between 0-5 volunteers scheduled for any given shift. We cannot do this without you!! Sign up to help with our Coat Drive Sorting and Distribution here!
Hope to see you very soon!
Best,
Angela
