Happy Holidays VFJ,
I’ve been pussy footing around on a mini vacay since November 2nd and it feels good. I’m back on the horse and ready to end this year with a bang.
Let’s get it started in here! My favorite comedic actress and IG phenomenal TMurda AKA Tracee Ellis Ross, released a holiday capsule collection with JCPenney on November 12.
Her first retail collection, but she “TMURDED” it—the line ranges from small to 3X and starts at just $12. Plus, she has a dope ass diverse look-book cast, making this the third, truly diverse campaign out here, in addition to Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty ads and Beyonce’s latest Ivy Park lookbook.
The line reps evening wear, accessories, home accessories, pajamas, workwear and knock knacks. Tracee is a veteran on the fashion scene, always bringing “RAINBOWS” to us through her whimsical, yet ladylike frocks. My homegirl (in my head) has the award from most including me — on high low looks, mixing designer and vintage to make an entrance on or off the runway. Having graced the runways at a young age and lending her eye to multiple publications as a fashion editor, Tracee is a fashion expert — hands down!
Seriously, there’s something for all –something everyone can afford, whether a gift or just for you. The looks are versatile and will look good on everyone. Size doesn’t matter in the capsule collection.
“It’s been my lifelong dream to design a line of clothing to utilize my love of style and clothes and to create a collection accessible to everyone that empowers women to embrace their joyful spirit. Each piece is timeless and versatile, classic but with flavor. They can be mixed and matched to create elegant looks for everybody and every body,” Tracee said.
JC Penney was the perfect partner for TER’s affordable collection because she truly believes that looking good does not have to cost a lot. Of course the tuxedo and the graphic printed dress are on my covet list.
Take a looksey’ above…. TRE is a Total Bad Ass.
