Sarah Jessica Parker and 40 fashion bloggers.

Standard

The folks behind Pitti Immagine, who put on the renowned Florence-based fashion fairs Pitti Uomo and Pitti W, hosted a luncheon this week to tell fashion editors what’s in store this June.

First off, Pitti Immagine is seriously loving LA this season, as Band of Outsiders‘ Scott Sternberg and Rodarte‘s Kate and Laura Mulleavy are the special guest designers for the men’s and women’s trade shows. Sternberg will present, according to a release, “a multifacted fashion event” on June 15 for Pitti Uomo while the Mulleavy sisters are working on a top-secret site-specific presentation and special collection for Pitti W. I can’t wait… I love the Mulleavy’s sisters.

But there’s another headliner at Pitti this June, an indication that the event is making strides to up their web visibility and star-factor: Sarah Jessica Parker and 40 fashion bloggers.

Yes, SJP herself will play hostess at the “Firenze4ever…It’s magic” event, put on by Luisaviaroma.com. The site has created a platform for the 40 lucky fashion bloggers (who will they be??) to interact with brands and designers. Sarah Jessica Parker will be on hand to host the event, in which the chosen bloggers will be able to take photos and create looks in something called the “Total look styling lab.” Pick me, pick me!

Upcoming fashion fairs in Florence, Italy this June.

The florence-based fashion fair continues to increase their profile with this june’s guest designers. One day I’ll get to one of these fairs…sooner than later.
